South Korean Actress Kim Sae-Ron Dead; Obituary, Cause Of Death
According to authorities, award-winning South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron was discovered dead in her Seoul home on Sunday. Her career was cut short by a drunk driving incident in 2022. She was 24 years old.
An spokesperson from the police told AFP, “She was found dead and there is no sign of foul play,” without providing any information.
According to Yonhap news agency, a friend discovered Kim at her house on Sunday night and informed the authorities of the find.

Authorities suspect “she made an extreme choice and plan to handle it as a suicide,” a police officer told reporters, but no official cause of death was provided, according to Yonhap. According to the outlet, no note was left behind.

The 2010 film “The Man from Nowhere” is where Kim gained the most notoriety for her portrayal of an abducted youngster who is saved by a former special forces agent.
Her performance earned her the Korean Film Awards’ best new actress prize.

According to her IMDB biography, Kim has received multiple film accolades during her career, including best actress in 2015 for her work in “A Girl at My Door,” and she has demonstrated versatility in a variety of performing roles.
However, after a drunk driving incident in 2022, in which she was fined 20 million won ($13,800), her career abruptly ended.
She eventually had trouble finding a new position because of the unfavorable public perception that followed the incident.
The 2023 Netflix series “Bloodhounds,” according to IMDB, was Kim’s most recent appearance. However, Variety stated that because of the drunk driving incident, the most of her role was cut out.
